Our 15kWh Ranger EV battery is a modern, heavy duty EV design similar to the batteries used in every EV car and truck on the road. That means high power relays called contactors are used for switching power instead of mosfets. This is not a golf cart battery. They are vastly inferior.
This battery was designed specifically for the Ranger EV. With this battery you can use your Ranger for work and play. It consists of two battery boxes and one control box called a Power Distribution Module or PDM. Each battery box is 25″ x 10″ x 9″. Weight is 220 lbs for the whole system.
We use cells that easily handle the high current demands of the Ranger EV. They are top quality 1C LFP cells. Rated for 600 amps continuous discharge. 900 amps for 60 sec. Cell capacity is over 304ah. Cell specs are on our support page.
We are the only manufacturer that monitors the temperature of every individual cell in the battery. There are 16 temperature sensors in this battery.
The 15.6kwh battery is a modular design with external controls that are easy to get to with waterproof control and power cables. Most cables connect without tools and have shock proof, finger safe connectors.
You get peace of mind with UL approved components everywhere. Our BMS was designed in-house and has been certified to UL508. Our battery box has been certified to UL50E.
We keep your UL certified Delta Q QuiQ charger and reprogram it with a lithium algorithm from Delta Q. This is included in the price.
We include parts to upgrade your factory wiring. The known weaknesses in the factory wire harness are fixed with upgraded components. This is included in the price.
Our multiple layers of redundant safety means any failure in our battery is safe and repairs can be made onsite.
A Heater Kit is available for winter use. It works in extreme cold. It can be installed anytime. This is $200 extra.
Our Floorboard kit creates two large under seat storage areas that are protected from water and mud thrown up by the wheels. This is included in the price.
Only Atlas ESS batteries have an Emergency Power feature that allows you to move your Ranger under power when your battery is empty. This is included in the price.
Fuel gauge is a Victron BMV-700 with smart dongle with blue tooth app on smart phone. This is included in the price.
4 Switch or 5 Switch panel for your dash is included in the price. Pick one. Allows you to add extra switches for winch, lights etc.
