Our Atlas ESS BMS uses a heavy duty contactor relay for switching for complete electrical isolation of the battery from the vehicle, just like production EV cars. Our competitors use MOSFET switching which is just plain dangerous. MOSFET switching is the cause of all those eBike battery fires you read about. Contactor switching costs much more to build compared to MOSFETs but your safety is worth it. Up to four 8.3kWh batteries will fit inside your Ranger EV You can start with one and add more anytime. The factory fuel gauge does not work well with lithium batteries. It works, but will display full until you are almost out of energy. Buy our dash mount or bluetooth battery meter fuel gauge by Victron. Blue tooth meter uses your cell phone for display. Power external loads like water pumps or your whole cabin with our heavy duty 2/0 power cable
