Description
Heater kit for 15kWh battery consists of two heaters and two insulating jackets. Heaters are powered by the battery.
Heater turns on at 50F (10C) and off at 65F (18C). Heater consumes 2 amp hour when running. There are two heaters in this kit. Each heater consumes 1 ah when running. Starting with a full battery, the heaters can run for 150 hours before the battery will go empty and shut off.
Heaters only run when battery is on. That means turned on by Atlas Power and Start switches.
Best practice is to turn on the battery a few hours before you drive the Ranger to give the heater time to warm the battery.
If you operate in extreme cold add extra insulation on top of or under insulating jacket.
