POWERFUL The Ranger EV motor can draw over 300 amps at full throttle. That’s 15+KW or twice the rated power of the motor. This high current draw will kill a golf cart battery. Our battery is designed to handle this current.
Our Atlas ESS BMS uses a heavy duty contactor relay for switching for complete electrical isolation of the battery from the vehicle, just like production EV cars. Our competitors use MOSFET switching which is just plain dangerous. MOSFET switching is the cause of all those eBike battery fires you read about. Contactor switching is much more expensive to build compared to MOSFETs, but your safety is worth it.
Up to four 8.3kWh batteries will fit inside your Ranger EV. Start with one and add more anytime, even 2 years later.
Optional Fuel Gauge: The factory fuel gauge does not work well with lithium batteries. It works, but will display full until you are almost out of energy. Buy our battery monitor/fuel gauge by Victron. Dash mounted or blue tooth (uses your cell phone for display).
Optional Auxiliary Power Cord: Power external loads like water pumps or your whole cabin with our heavy duty 2/0 power cable 10 year warranty.
Optional Battery Heater: A must have for winter driving. Heats your battery when plugged into 120vac outlet.
10 year warranty on parts and workmanship. Warranty does not cover labor to make repairs.
